With eight different styles to choose from, and the ability to customise your chosen style with different panel and glass layouts, an extensive array of glass, different colours of hardware and over 200 RAL colours.

Features

• These doors match the Heritage Stepped Windows and our Durafold 1000 Bi-folding doors.
• Extensive range of styles and designs.
• Various configurations of glass and solid panels are available, such as glass in the top and panel in the bottom, glass top and bottom, or a single panel.
• Available with matching sidepanels, toplights and sidelights.
• The optional Low Threshold greatly reduces the step-over required.
• These all aluminium doors are thermally broken using the latest polyamide thermal barrier technology - resulting in a thermally efficient front door.
• High security locking consisting of a hook lock top and bottom of the door, and a dead-bolt and a latch, to firmly secure the door
• Can be made to PAS23 PAS24 specification if required.
• Due to their modern design, these doors exceed the current requirements for Document L October 2010 for new build, as well as refurbishment projects.
• Slim-line butt hinges on our aluminium doors are a lot slimmer and cleaner than unsightly flag hinges.
• Handles in a variety of colours and styles complement the door.

Technical Details

The sizes detailed below are for guidance only; maximum widths can vary depending on your chosen height and vice versa. Widths wider than 6250 can be achieved with a mechanical join and heights of up to 3000 can be achieved (subject to panel width and location). Panels can be made less than 700mm wide - please ask our technical department for advice.

These solid, strong and secure all aluminium Luxury front doors come in a range of made-to-measure styles and designs. Whether you live in a traditional or a contemporary home you will discover an extensive range of styles to suit any home.

You have the ability to customise your chosen design with a comprehensive range of glass and glass designs, over 100 vibrant RAL colours including dual colour (different colour inside and out) as well as the ability to choose, which sections of the door are glazed and, which are aluminium faced panels. Our Luxury Doors are also available with a range of made-to-measure matching aluminium sidepanels, toplites,curved toplites and sidelites.

Please Note: An assortment of different colours are illustrated here but remember you can also choose to have different colours inside and out with our dual colour option.

Panels

We can provide a comprehensive range of stylish aluminium panels for your door. They are available in any RAL colour, so there is something to suit everyone.

Please note: There are no standard colours for these door panels. The U-value of each of these door panels will vary, and the use of one of these aluminium door panels will affect the maximum and minimum sizes.

Glazing Options

When it comes to glass, and glass designs you can literally have almost anything you want. Our standard glass is clear, 90% argon gas filled (4mm Planitherm 4S, 4mm Planilux), 16mm or more, Swiss V warm edge spacer bar (1.1 Glass - U Value centre Pane*).

In our Luxury door system you can have double glazed sealed units up to 28mm in depth. Available with square or diamond leaded glazing, Georgian bars that are fitted inside the sealed units, astragal bars, which are mounted on the outside of the glass with a dummy spacer. This is just a small selection of the different glass options available. You are able to choose from a wide range of glass and even customise the glass to your own specifications. Other glass options include obscure / textured glass options, and an extensive range of decorative, coloured, bevelled, and fusion glass options.

Colour Options

The Luxury Aluminium Front Door is available in standard white, KL colour range (cheaper than RAL), or any of over 200 special RAL colour paint finishes. You can also choose to have your door dual coloured, this is where you can have a different colour outside and inside. For example black outside and white inside, which is one of our most popular dual colour option.

KL Colour Range

The KL range of colour finishes are a diverse range of colours that provide shorter lead times and reduced cost - when compared to special RAL colours.

RAL Colour Finishes

Hardware

Our Luxury aluminium Doors come with either a lever-lever or lever-pad handle and a choice of letterboxes, door knockers and house numbers.

Lever-Lever Handles

Our Luxury aluminium doors are available with standard lever-lever handles (Seen left). These handles are very functional and as a result have been the industry standard door handles for many years.

Available Colours:
White, Black, Gold, Silver, Chrome, Stone Look Black and Stone Look Copper finishes.

Lever-Pad Handles

Our Luxury aluminium doors are available with lever-pad handles in a range of colours (Lever-pad seen left). These handles use a lever handle on the inside and a pad on the outside.

Available Colours:
White, Black, Gold, Silver, Chrome, Stone Look Black and Stone Look Copper finishes.

Specifying - Suitable Applications

1. Can be specified for light commercial and domestic applications.
2. Meets building regulations for new build. (For Oct 2010)
3. Meets building regulations for replacement and refurbishment projects. (For Oct 2010)
4. Standard threshold; suitable for use on the ground floor up to second floor. (Recommended fully weather rated threshold).
5. Low threshold options; suitable for use on the ground floor only, not recommended for properties situated by the coast or installed in exposed locations.
