Duratherm 300 Aluminium Windows

The DuraTherm 300 profiles utilise an innovative wide polyamide thermal break technology which creates a barrier between the cold air outside and the warm air inside.

This technology significantly reduces thermal transmittance and enhances the overall U-Value of a product and is designed to exceed the exacting requirements of Document L 2010.

This versatile range can provide solutions for residential and light commercial applications. It can create traditional casement windows inspired by the elegance and styling of timber products, or contemporary style windows designed for modern homes or offices.

Conventional DUR colour range - White, Black, Dark Grey 7016, Medium Grey, Silver Grey, Cream or Brown.

Shaped Windows

The system can be fabricated in a range of shapes as fixed frame windows. These can be used in a range of applications and can be coupled to our 70mm doors to create a light and airy space.

Shaped windows are fixed, non-opening only.
Shaped designs include: Triangular, Octagonal or Trapeziums.
70mm or 53mm frame options.
Shaped windows can use either square or chamfered bead.
Shaped windows can be coupled with most 70mm door ranges.

Security

Our DuraTherm 300 windows are equipped with a range of security features including:

Modern multi-point shootbolt locking with key locked Espag handles.
Sash jammers to hinge side.
Night vent security as standard.
Modern friction hinges.
Optionally upgrade to laminated glass for extra security.

Glazing Options

When it comes to glass you can have almost anything you want. The type of project will generally dictate what glass is required, however compliance with Building Regulations and personal preferences such as the level of security, privacy and thermal efficiency will also be considerations when making your decision.

The Premium Aluminium window system takes 28mm sealed units. Below are some examples of popular glass options:

Standard Clear Glass

Our standard double glazed units are Low-E, soft coat, 90% argon gas filled sealed units, with a warm edge spacerbar and a centre pane U-value of 1.2 W/M²K.

Square Leaded Glass

We can add square patterned leads to the inside and outside of the outer pane of your double glazed sealed units. There are a number of different types to choose from including antique soldered leads for a more authentic look. These are designed to replicate traditional Leadlites or leaded lights. Decorative windows made of small sections of glass supported in lead cames.

Diamond Leaded Glass

We can add diamond patterned leads to the inside and outside of the outer pane of your double glazed sealed units. There are a number of different types to choose from including antique soldered leads for a more authentic look. These are designed to replicate traditional Leadlites or leaded lights. Decorative windows made of small sections of glass supported in lead cames.

Horizontal Astragal Bars

Horizontal astragal bars provide an Art Deco style by replicating the appearance of traditional Georgian bars. Astragal Bars are surface mounted onto the inside and outside of the double glazed sealed unit, along with a dummy spacer bar between the glass. This gives the one piece of glass the appearance of lots of smaller individual pieces of glass.

Butted Astragal Bars
